Originally from Dayton, Ohio, Josh Hoke has always had a profound interest in the substance use disorder field. However, it was Nova Transformations’ mission and core values that truly distinguished it from other treatment programs.
Josh has over 11 years of experience in mental health, having worked as a Behavioral Modification Specialist, case manager, and investigator/supervisor for the Department of Social Services. His extensive experience has shown him the deep connection between addiction and mental health struggles.
Witnessing real change in people’s lives and supporting them on their journey is what Joshua finds most rewarding about his work. His message to clients is simple yet powerful: “You are not alone. You are loved.”
Outside of work, Josh is an avid golfer who takes every opportunity to enjoy the game.
He lives by the following words:
“Sometimes your mind plays tricks on you. It can tell you you’re no good; that it’s all hopeless. But I’ve discovered this: you are loved and important, and you bring things to this world that no one else can. So, hold on.”
