Jodi Mabry, a Rock Hill, SC native, became a registered nurse in 2011 and a board-certified nurse practitioner in 2021. She joined Nova Transformations to be part of a team committed to innovative recovery treatment. She has a diverse background, with experience in Labor & Delivery, Urgent Care, and Substance Use Treatment & Detoxification Centers. While working in urgent care in Western North Carolina, she saw firsthand the critical need for caring substance abuse and mental health providers, which inspired her to focus on addiction treatment.
For Jodi, the best part of her job is seeing clients transform from their first visit to becoming independent. She’s inspired by hearing about the successes of former clients and seeing how far they’ve come.
Her advice to clients is simple but powerful: “You have to do this for yourself. Be selfish in recovery, take this time for yourself, and make the most of it.”
Jodi is excited to see Nova grow and the positive impact it will have on clients’ lives.
When she’s not working, Jodi enjoys deep-sea fishing, skiing, and traveling with her family. Her personal philosophy is summed up by a quote from Vivian Greene: “Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, but learning to dance in the rain.”
